Dates & details:

Camp at Fox Ridge Farm offers a warm and caring environment where campers receive personalized riding instruction.  Emphasis is on horsemanship, safety, ground handling, grooming, and the use and care of equipment.

Our camps introduce children of all abilities to the challenges, responsibilities, and joys of caring for and riding horses.

It doesn't matter if the child is already an accomplished rider or if they've never touched a horse before.  Our program will challenge and improve their horsemanship and riding skills while increasing self-confidence.

Our primary goal is to significantly increase  confidence levels and riding ability of every rider with us.  We are proud to report that our camps are always very safely managed and our horses are gentle and well-schooled.  We have never had an injury to any rider during camp throughout our history.

We pride ourselves on keeping costs down and offer the most affordable horseback riding camp in the area.

Every day we learn hands on horse care & stable management!  We play fun games, make art projects & go swimming!  Everyday is fun on the farm, but Fridays are the best!  Every Friday we get to ride bareback, have a scavenger hunt & enjoy a pizza & build your own ice cream sundae party!

Campers should bring a bag lunch each day, except on Fridays.  They should also pack their bathing suits, a towel & sunscreen.  Campers should come dressed comfortably.  Long pants & boots are a must for riding.  Helmets will be provided.  Shorts may be packed to wear after riding.

What is Mini Camp?
Mini camps run just like a regular day camp day.  The only difference is mini camps last 1 day.  These camps are a wonderful way to expand on regular riding lessons by spending 6 full hours on the farm, learning stable management, playing games, making a horse-related art project & of course taking riding lessons with friends.  As always, beginners are welcome too!

Mucking stalls is all a part of learning stable management!
