Sleep-Away Camp:
For one special week only, we are bringing back our our fun & fantastic sleep-away camp for girls! Spaces are extremely limited so please register early to hold a spot.
A USPC (United States Pony Club) Manual is included in the price of camp & is the rider's to keep. We will be working out of the USPC Manual this week in addition to tons of hands-on experience. This week will prove to be an in-depth equestrian learning experience, focusing not only on riding skills but on many aspects of horse care, stable management, & good horsemanship too. All topics covered will be appropriate for a wide range of ages & interest levels. In addition to the manual, scrapbooks & supplies will be given out. We will spend a little time each day working on our scrapbooks so we can preserve all the wonderful memories made this week.
There will be 2 riding sessions per day. A structured lesson early & a supervised, but relaxed & fun ride later in the day. This fun ride allows time for the girls to have fun & be silly while ejoying each other & their horses. In between riding, campers will be in charge of taking care of their special horses for the week... feeding, cleaning, grooming/bathing, & caring for tack is all part of it. In addition we'll be swimming, playing horse-related games, watching both fun & educational DVD's, working from our USPC Manuals, & enjoying a little down time with our friends too.
Campers love to help with meals preparation & are encouraged to do so!
We LOVE lots of cooks in the kitchen & have a blast preparing meals to music! We especially love poolside barbeques, taco night, & Italian night! At the end of the day, the girls will make a special treat for that evening... things like homemade cookies, brownies, or ice cream sundaes are the perfect way to end a long, fun day on the farm. On our last day together, we'll all work together to pull off a wonderful brunch before pick up. During this brunch we will have an awards ceremony & celebrate our achievements during the week.
This fun week will offer campers the oppertunity to naturally character build through the love of horses & horseback riding. Self sufficiency, leadership skills, team cooperation & an "I can do" attitude is encouraged & rewarded throughout the week.

General Information:
Fox Ridge Farm offers a warm and caring environment where campers receive personalized riding instruction. Emphasis is on riding, horsemanship, safety, ground handling, grooming, and the use and care of equipment.
Our camps introduce children of all abilities to the challenges, responsibilities, and joys of caring for and riding horses.
It doesn't matter if the child is already an accomplished rider or if they've never touched a horse before. Our program will challenge and improve their horsemanship and riding skills while increasing self-confidence.
Our primary goal is to significantly increase the confidence level and riding ability of every rider with us. We are proud to report that our camps are always very safely managed and our horses are gentle and well-trained. We have never had an injury to any rider during camp throughout our history.
Spaces are very limited, especially for our sleep-away camp. Every summer riders are turned away when sessions fill.
Please reserve your spot early.
We NEVER charge those phoney registration fees!

We care for the horses.

We swim.

We work on special projects.

We ride...

...and ride...

...and ride some more!
