Mans best friend has always been the dog...
However, when it comes to children, it is often the bigger, gentler creatures that capture their hearts & imaginations.
It's undeniable, there is just something magical about kids and horses!

Make wonderful 4-legged friends that you'll never forget!

General Information:
Camp at Fox Ridge Farm offers a warm and caring environment where campers receive personalized riding instruction. Emphasis is on riding, horsemanship, safety, ground handling, grooming, and the use and care of equipment.
Our camps introduce children of all abilities to the challenges, responsibilities, and joys of caring for and riding horses.
It doesn't matter if the child is already an accomplished rider or if they've never touched a horse before. Our program will challenge and improve their horsemanship and riding skills while increasing self-confidence.
Our primary goal is to significantly increase confidence levels and riding ability of every rider with us. We are proud to report that our camps are always very safely managed and our horses are gentle and well-trained. We have never had an injury to any rider during camp throughout our history.
Day camps require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold the spot. Any remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp, otherwise there is an additional $25 charge.
We NEVER charge those phoney registration fees!
Spaces are very limited. Every summer riders are turned away when sessions fill. Reserve your spot early!
Let us plan a summer that your child will never forget!

We learn how to care for the horses.
Summer Day Camps:
Children come out to the farm & spend the week with lots of 2-legged and 4-legged friends. Day camps run Monday-Friday, 9:00 - 3:00. Earlier drop off and later pick up is available for $10/hr. and must be prepaid and prearranged.
Each day we'll have a riding lesson no matter the weather in our indoor or outdoor arena! We play mounted games and even ride bareback!
Every day we learn hands on horse care & stable management! We play fun games, make horse-related art projects & go swimming! Gifts & surprises are given to the campers each day! Everyday is fun on the farm, but Fridays are the best! Every Friday we ride bareback, have a scavenger hunt, & enjoy a pizza & ice cream party!
Campers should bring a bag lunch each day, except on Fridays (when we supply lunch). They should also pack their bathing suits, a towel & sunscreen. Campers should come dressed comfortably. Long pants & boots are a must for riding. Helmets will be provided if the rider doesn't have their own.

The best way to cool off after riding.

Earlier drop off and later pick up is available for $10/hr. and must be prepaid & prearranged.
Mini camps must be paid in full ($65.) to reserve the spot.
These camps are a wonderful way to expand on regular riding lessons by spending 6 full hours on the farm, learning stable management, playing games, making a horse-related art project & of course taking riding lessons with friends.

As always, beginners are always welcome!
